Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning heavy rock band Iron Maiden has joined the team as both an Associate Producer and as the composer of the film’s score and the theme tune for the film.
Both as a solo artist and with Iron Maiden, he has sold more than 120 million records worldwide. Bruce Dickinson has previously written music for documentaries and features, most notably composing the music for ‘Scream For Me Sarajevo’ a documentary film about Dickinson’s 1994 tour of the war-torn country.
Dickinson is also a highly qualified aviator and has piloted many different types of aircraft, from a WW1 fighter plane to a Boeing 747. He also captained and flew the Boeing 757 aircraft – nicknamed Ed Force One – which was used to transport the band and their crew on Iron Maiden’s 2008 world tour. A feature documentary film of the tour was released under the title ‘Iron Maiden – Flight 666’.
